Hi, I’m Eddie.

I am a culinary documentarian and editorial food director from Orlando, Florida who enjoys storytelling and exploration. My passion for food started when I was a kid working in my grandma’s restaurant where she would make and sell the absolute best hand made Pupusa’s. Her restaurant was called La Casita.

Later I studied anthropology and film, and since I was kid I have been drawn to cameras. Over time, that curiosity led me somewhere unexpected....FOOD.

Food to me is sociology, science, history, memory, emotion, and long before it is plated or photographed, it is something deeply human. It is the oldest form of connection we share. Im interested in what food reveals, how it brings people together, how it carries culture and how it creates meaning in everyday life.

THAT IS WHAT I DOCUMENT

Through film and photography, I tell stories of chefs, farmers, ranchers, fishermen....the people who shape what we eat and how we experience it.
